Meeting on Sri Lanka Draft Microfinance Act
After discussions LMFPA had with the Secretary of the Finance Ministry recently, The Central Bank of Sri Lanka released a draft of the Sri Lanka Microfinance Act through its website. It was crucial to hear the comments of the members regarding this act so that LMFPA may forward it to the Ministry of Finance for any further improvements as required. Therefore a meeting was organized on the 17th of August 2010 at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute for this purpose.
